西安建筑科技大学建筑学学士,新加坡国立大学建筑科学硕士,香港中文大学建筑学博士、博士后,美国北卡罗纳大学、美国麻省理工学院访问学者,现为南京大学建筑与城市规划学院副教授、硕士生导师,中国建筑学会建筑物理分会理事,美国绿色建筑学会会员。

主要从事建筑天然采光等的建筑技术及其理论、 建筑可持续发展、绿色建筑设计等领域的研究。

主持国家自然科学基金青年基金项目1项、参与国家自然基金项目一项,主持江苏省级省级科研课题1项。发表专著、译著与科研、教学论文数十篇。

Wu Wei's mission is to enhance the knowledge of sustainable building technologies through innovative educational programming and strategic research at the intersection of design, computer science, and building performance simulation. Her research expertise is in daylighting, solar and renewable energy technologies, and sustainable architectural design, and building simulation and performance. She led and participated research projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China. She also presided over 3 provincial-level scientific research projects of Jiangsu Province. Her research results have contributed widely to conferences and journals in recent years.
