东南大学建筑系学士、南京大学建筑学院硕士、博士，ETH联合培养博士交流，现为南京大学建筑与城市规划学院副教授、硕士生导师。

主要从事建筑设计及其理论、城市设计、城市形态与性能等领域的研究。

主持国家自然科学基金青年基金项目1项、高等学校博士学科点专项科研基金项目1项、参与国家自然科学基金重点项目1项、参与国家自然科学基金项目多项。发表学术论文数十篇。主持、参与建筑设计、城市设计项目获得部、省级奖项13项，其中一等奖3项、二等奖7项、三等奖3项。多次指导学生在国内外相关竞赛与作业评选中获奖。

Youpei Hu is mainly engaged in the research of architectural design and its theory, urban design, urban form and performance.

He presided over one project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), one project of the Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education, and participated in one key project of NSFC and several projects of NSFC.

Youpei Hu has published dozens of academic papers. He has won 13 ministerial and provincial awards for his architectural design and urban design projects, including 3 first-class awards, 7 second-class awards and 3 third-class awards. He has guided students to win many awards in related competitions and assignments at home and abroad.
